New Chairman Career and Charity Keeps Andy Wirth Busy and Devoted

Andy Wirth knows all too well how important tourism is to the Lake Tahoe and Reno Nevada areas. This is why he recently accepted the nomination of Chairman of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. He knows he can help both the Casino area of Reno and the ski area of Tahoe. Many people come through the Reno Airport yearly. The hopes are for people to stay and visit. Andy is also the CEO of the Squaw Valley Ski Holdings. He lives in Truckee California with his wife. They both enjoy going skiing during the winter. They can hardly wait til the time the snow begins to fall.

Fear set in the past year because of the drought. Everyone was worried about the drought. The fear was that there would not be enough snow for the season. No one stops to think of the thousands of acres that always have snow.

Snow and ski resorts are very popular with newly wedded individuals. It is wonderful to go snow skiing during the day and retire to the cottage with a roaring fire and hot chocolate in the evening. The resorts in the area have hot tubs on the porches and give the newlyweds the ability to enjoy their time alone with their new spouse. The Casinos in Nevada are only a few miles down the mountain. The offer wonderful entertainment, gambling, tables and slots, and fantastic gourmet meals in their restaurants.

Andy Wirth has loads of experience in resort management. He has experience with the parks and with delegating authority. Andy enjoys helping to manage and level the merger talks that happen such as the recent ones with Alpine. He manages some charities such as raising funds for the Navy Seal foundation and the Wounded Warrior foundation. This need to help came from his near loss of life. He fell onto a post in a vineyard while skydiving. He ended up almost losing his arm. This gave him a new look at things and has helped him to see how he really wants to help people through charity and his career.

Only a few thousand acres will be without the snow this year. Most of the areas had to limit their water use for a while but the season opens soon and promises to be a bang. It is very easy to assume that some essay writers did not do according to instructed. But I guess it’s working out for them too.
